LANYU’S BEAUTY
I found this beautiful Taiwan Asagi Madara Parantica swinhoei butterfly (correct me if it’s wrong) while walking In the mountains of Lanyu (a wonderful little island off the coast of Taiwan).
The island’s vegetation is lush. The mountains are covered with tree ferns and other tropical species.
The photo was taken in mid-January 2009 so I was surprised to see butterflies.
