This is one of the most interesting and painterly underwater macro abstracts that I have seen in a long while. The textural change in hue on the plant life adds a level of interest that saves the large expanse of green from being too bland. Yet it is non obtrusive enough to provide a definition of place and home-sweet-home feel for our little friends. Are these larvae of some kind? The stems really break up the lighter bg with more leading lines. I like this...sci-fi swamp kind of feel.
