This picture is great, Elaine...I hope some day to be able to take a picture as good as this...and, yes I read all of the settings you shared with David...THANK YOU...den
Makes me want to get back to my book on exposure Elaine! ...It's taking me FOREVER to go from point and shoot photographer to intelligent one! lol.
GREAT SHOT.
Simply Awesome. How on earth do you expose for that and retain the dof? on my camera (300d) if the shot needs more than 30 seconds ( at night and at f22+ it will do) it just says bulb and not any idea of how long to time it for. is it just trial and error? i'm not believing this shot was a fluke, it is Quality.
oh I know where you took that. if you look at the three little spires right hand from st pauls i lived right behind them :-) getting kind of homesick

Very nice shot, the dome of St Pauls is not to bright which is difficult to achieve. And even the foreground is well done. Great.David

Excellent shot, Elaine. It is a blessed relief to see some shots from the South Bank instead of the endless supply of those from the North, taking in the Millenium Eye.
I think I would have cheated and used software to remove some of the noise in the sky though. But thats just me!!
Take it easy.
