Lower Saxony | landing the catch |
Enjoying a sunny late summer afternoon at the coast. We had a picnic under a lighthouse and I explained some characteristics of living and working along the coast to our friends.
Meanwhile a shrimp trawler came in and YES! -
we got some fresh caught and cooked shrimps directly from aboard the ship. Yummy!
WRE is the designation of origin for the vessels: Wremen, a little village right behind the dike.
The trawlers use an outlet ("Wasserlöse", drainage) as pier.

A most attractive maritime ambiance with great use of wide-angle perspective to capture the eye and lead it inward! This looks to be a motif-rich area in which to shoot! I enjoyed reading your narrative of the shoot as well.Compliments,
Steve
