Manhattan Bridge No. 10
A sunny June afternoon's mix of nature's art and the proud brawn of early 20th century architecture.
If you use your imagination, you just might enjoy the sound of rushing N and Q trains
riding their rails twixt Manhattan and Brooklyn, high above the East River on the lower deck.
Imagine a bit harder and the metallic symphony
might include B's and D's on the north side tracks.
Or just enjoy the sunsine and low humidity of a perfect afternoon in June, and the fluttering leaves in the breeze framing the mighty bridge, all of which a photographer did after his first walk acrosss the neighboring Brooklyn Bridge in 2013.
The photo makes its first appearance tonight.
