Manhattan Rooftops No. 2
A favorite NYC motif of mine is those distinctive rooftop water towers
whose form and detail can make the city's skylines so eye-engaging.
This view is along Madison Avenue, just below E 31st Street. It was shot from
my room at The Roger on what would be an afternoon exploring this stretch
of Madison and enjoying the views in, and from, Madison Square Park.

I love these little water towers on the roofs. They always look like remnants of former times as a contrast to a modern city.
