"Marienkirche" in Dessau
I took this image on the 21/01/2021 at 11:34 o'clock in the German city Dessau (Dessau-Roßlau). It is the third largest city in the German federal state Saxony-Anhalt in the Eastern Part of Germany. The rivers Elbe and Mulde flow through the city.
Dessau is surrounded by numerous parks and palaces that make it one of the greenest towns in Germany.
The picture shows the "Marienkirche" - the former main lutheran church of Dessau. The first church dates back to 1263. A reconstruction started in 1506. Major changes took place inside the church between 1780 and 84. An air raid destroyed the church on the 7. March 1945. Reconstruction took place between 1989 and 1998. The building isn't used as a church anylonger. It serves for cultural events.
I used a Canon EOS 77D with the Canon EF-S 17-55mm lens. The image is resized and got a color correction of 2-253. I didn't edit it further yet. (9582)
