Midtown East Winter Nightscape No. 2
On this very clear December night, a view uptown of New York City's Midtown East
skyline as seen from the 1,200 foot high vantage point of Summit One Vanderbilt.
The building with the lighted blue crown is 383 Madison Avenue. Like One Vanderbilt, it
sits between Madison and Vanderbilt Avenues; it is bounded by E 46th and 47th Streets,
The broad, glittering thoroughfare just to the east, anchored at lower right by the Helmsley Building
illuminated in Christmas Season red and green, is Park Avenue, which passes through two sides of
the Helmsley to wrap around Grand Central Terminal on a viaduct, before continuing downtown.
Looking in the opposite direction, one can see the residential tower of 432 Park Avenue
and, topped in red, white and blue, the Bloomberg Tower to the east on Lexington Avenue.

Hi Steve, another fine shot from the Vanderbilt...next time in NYC we have to go there.
We ( Doris, Christa, Stefan and me ) come back to NYC in August for celebrating my 70th Birthday. For now I wish You a happy new Year, stay healthy and I hope we see us again.
