Morecambe Bay

Taken last week on a very dull day. I was attracted by the subtle lighting.
There is no grain/noise. The apparent grain is undulations in the sand.

Thanks Alexander for comments. There are indeed big similarities with your lagoon!
Morecambe Bay is a huge area of sand and mud that is exposed twice a day at low tide and there are many channels in the constantly moving mud and sand that can be photographed in a variety of ways.

ps I am also of the pre digital generation and am stuck with the idea that focus, tones and colours should be "correct" .

Marvellous shot Jeff very much like to my "the lagoon"!..It's amazing what kind of strange shapes the water surface can form under wind, temperature and other physical phenomena. But it also requires, sometimes, a lot of patience to wait in order to time the shot!...
    greetings alexander
