Mother Polar Bear and Baby
This shot of a mother polar bear and her baby is a favorite of mine and was taken at the Roger William Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island about eight years ago. The birth of the cub was a much anticipated event and a contest was held for school aged children to name the new addition. Unfortunately, the cub did not reach adulthood and the exhibit is now long gone.
P.S.: This is a very photographer friendly zoo and a great place to take a family!
