Mount Kailash peak
Though Kailash is believed to have been fashioned just 30 million years back, this multi faceted rocky pyramid exemplifies so many sobriquets. As the holiest spot of the Hindu, Buddhist, Bön and Jain religions, this lofty peak in the northern most region of the Himalayas, is full of fabulous legends and myth. One of the finest spot in the snow clad ranges of the unending Himalayas, Mount Kailash glitters with the patina of saintly appearance.
When we arrived this stunning place we were very lucky with the weather, only sunshine and blue sky. Local people told us that the weather conditions can change in hours but during our stay at the holy mountain and Lake Manasarovar only serene weather and almost no clouds rewarded our inner hops before.

Der Berg erinnert mich an die Cheops Pyramide mit dernoch vorhandenen Kalksteinglättung an der Spitze.
