Moving House

We watched this red squirrel for a while as she was busily moving the babies from one drey to another. Not too sure how many she had but this was the third one we saw.

    oops! at first sight i thought there was something wrong with the squirrel's snout! ; ) lucky you!! i've never before seen a squirrel mom move her young! oh wait, that's not true. once in the states i watched a big gray squirrel transport her offspring to her pied-à-terre ; ), taking the short cut across our telephone wire… ; )) great capture and documentary! greetings, sabine.
