I like the close up. I don't know about the crop maybe alittle more chin. The Eyes are remarkable.

agree with jeannette , the crop makes it more interesting , focussed on the eyes so far for me , ok
concerning flash , jaime has right too , but the picture is cool ++++

I think the close crop underlines the boy's mood...which might be other than angry...perhaps just questionning...

lovely close portrait, did you use flash? as i can see a few lighter bits on his face which could be fixed.
