New dike near Batenburg (Netherlands) along the Maas

A view days ago the floodplains along the river Maas and close to Batenburg, were flooded. Now the water was retreating. The photo is taken in January 2011 and it was a beautiful, cold and stormy weather. A dike was made in a new constructed nature.
