October Views from Keats Island (3)
A three to four hour sail out of Vancouver and a nice get-away for a long weekend ..
a mighty Maple Tree overlooking the cove where we anchor - impressive in every season ..

maple – the most canadian of all trees! ; )) and the mere size of this one is amazing! it literally dwarfs the picnic table and makes it look as we are in lilliput! ; )) the sparkling leaves, both on the tree and on the ground, are very beautiful! and i like how the bright autumn sun makes the water behind it go blazingly white! hugs, sabine. p.s.: i miss our maple tree! we had to chop it down a couple of years ago because it threatened to split in half. october in our backyard has been less colorful ever since! ; ))ARTURO MEDINA 22/10/2011 11:24
