Waving the flag
What are her plans and what thoughts are mixed up in her mind as she bends to play with her young son under the strict Mao's glance conentrated on both anxiously to know whether his entire political philosophy of religious nihilism and elimination of any individual initiative and profit is well secured to pass also as conviction to the child.

This simple scene tells such a story and asks so very many questions. Will that little boy grow up and know the austerity that his Mother has endured... or will he be more free to live his life as he wishes.........:))
