the life and times in the "zeros"! (or what does one call the first ten years of the century?)Oh yeah, George the heart throb.
Apart from that I thought the Oscars were pretty boring this year - way to sanitized with no scandalous speeches whatsoever!

Klaus, thank you kindly, and sorry for the " jumpy paranoid " parents. :)
we honestly thought it was a lullabye,..but the lyrics just didnt sound like one we would sing to Matthew....
Yes, we both saw the movie,..and you can only imagine the look on our faces,..Duhhhhhhhhh!
our sincere gratitude for you taking the time to enlighten us on this.
a big hug from us,..especially from Matthew,

hallo raoul,I copied this song out of the net. I copied it, because you mentioned george clooney. he is the main character in a film by the coen brothers. the film is called: O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Three men are on the run. While driving a car through a forest, they hear in the distance some women singing. These women embody the sirens from Homer's Ulysses, and they sing: "didn't leave nobody but the baby".
The vers I especially like is: "she's long gone with her red shoes on".
as far as the rest of the song is concerned I did not much think about it. I am sorry, I should have mentioned it.
You possibly can rent the film on DVD.
greetings
klaus

Go to sleep you little babyGo to sleep you little baby
You'r mama's gone away
and you'r daddy's gonna stay
Didn't leave nobody but the baby.
Go to sleep you little baby
Go to sleep you little baby
Everybody's gone and the cotton and the corn
Didn't leave nobody but the baby.
You're a sweet little baby
You're a sweet little baby
Honey and a rock and the sugar don't stock
Gonna bring a bottle to the baby.
Don't you weep pretty baby
Don't you weep pretty baby
She's long gone with her red shoes on
Gonna need another lovin' baby.
Go to sleep you little baby
Go to sleep you little baby
You and me and the devil makes three
Don't need no other lovin' baby.
Go to sleep you little baby
Go to sleep you little baby
Come on lay your bones on the alabaster stones
And be my everlovin' baby...

A lot of cameras are involved - your own, the one of your wife(?), and the cameras that produce the TV image. Only the child is without a camera - yet ;-)LG, Etienne
