Pancakes

This ancient site is a pancake restaurant in Bokrijk, Belgium. Such a lovely place to take great pictures. I'm a little uncertain about the composition of this image so I like to hear your thoughts about it.

and yes, I know: that stainless steel dish doesn't fit AT ALL in this scene :-(

The point is the ''pancake restaurant'' I think so, thus if me I would picture this not from the flank of the advertising (or price) board but the front of it. I feel it should be lay stress on that black board because only there tells something about the pancake restaurant.

Hi Helen, I was joking about the ashtray (or whatever it was). I should have removed it before I took the shot but now it's there it doesn't bother me that much.

I suppose if the tray bothered you, Photoshop would help you get rid of it. However, I did not notice it, perhaps because I was so taken with the composition and color. I want to go there. Now. I love this, Robert. Wonderful photograph, right up my alley.

I know, that tray keeps haunting me, everytime I look at the picture. Sometimes wakes me up at night, all sweaty (just kidding)
