This is very clever indeed.The sharpness and detail of the nib is offset perfectly by the subtlety and softness of the shadow. The blue tint just finishes it off beautiflly.

It always amazes me how little is needed to make great picture. The composition, with the diagonal line and the shadow, along with the "Steel"-blue tint makes the picture stand out!Christiane Ricken 29/08/2006 17:08
