    close and sharp definition in his beautiful plumage …
    so rare to see a pheasant in his natural surroundings !!!

      We were lucky. And the dull light at that time of say helped to make it stand out. I don't know what life is like over there in vancouver, Adele - but a feature of driving along country roads in the North of england - is continually having to slow down and stop for these dim birds - wandering across the road in front of the car. I love them. mark.
