How about having it (the table) much darker (one of the colours from the globe), or not at all? Just an idea... It might not work at all, but you could try if you really don't like this brown. I agree after looking at it for a while, the brown is slightly distractive...maybe, as Perry suggested..the edges could be improved? Rugged perhaps?Anyhow... The picture is great with brown table, or without. :))
