Preßnitztalbahn No.1
The little narrow gauge steam locomotive and its train seem to be occupying a sentimental time warp.
And while the photograph was made recently enough, on Ektachrome 200 slide film in a Canon EOS-1 with
75-300 mm lens, the era of the train suggested to me presentation in sentimental classic black and white.
This 750-mm gauge railway runs through the Erzgebirge pine forests in eastern Germany, close by the
Czech border, from Steinbach to Jöhstadt. This train has just emerged into a clearing as it nears Jöhstadt.
The image is available in archival gallery prints and as a custom printed Photo Note Card.
