Purple Heron: Out of the Camera and right into the Middle!

During the Summertime it is possible to watch these wonderful herons in some parts of Bavaria, where you can find a lot of lakes, fish ponds and of course, a lot of different birds. (waders, herons, ducks, etc). Birdwatcher's paradise!

For some days I did see him flying close to my favorite "point of view".

And, in my opinion, the purple heron is the most beautiful heron I've ever seen.
And now, with a lot of snow outside and cold weather, such fotos allow me to dream of a long, beautiful and warm summertime!

(I didn't do any digital editing...just converted the raw-file into a jpeg...)

@Luc: thank you for your idea. I think I'll do it so.
I had one Version, where he flew "out", because I planned to write something on the right side of the foto.

Best Wishes & thank you all 4your comments!

    great capture !!!!
    indeed a wonderful colorful bird....
if you took this in RAW, you could crop it easily so that more space is in front of the bird (make it fly into the pic instead of out of...)
