thanks for the comment on my image, you are right, they have many similarities. i was twiddling my thumbs waiting for my family to come out of a theatre and decided to mess with my camera after i saw thr raindrops and reflected lights, it just goes to show that you can make something interesting out of virtually anything.
    thanks again.
    regards, maurice.

I like pictures like this. There is quite a lot you can see in there and - depending on one's own mood - it's either colorful, or "tristess" that talks to you. I like the blurry background. I guess I was in a little less colorful mood when I took a similar picture the other day:

Raindrops keep falling on my head....
A picture I've seen so many times in my life, but never took a picture of it. Nice idea Helen!

Helen, this is so beautiful. It appeared to be an anbstracted floral arrangement at first. I love the layering of the glass, water, rings of light... it's very deep. You can make art from such a simple thing as rain on a window pane; a true artist!

Keep following your instinct Helen. It is often the best tool a photographer has. If we analyze shots too much before shooting, we end up missing the best one second windows of opportunity.
