Japanese Waterfall Cherries in Vancouver's VanDusen Gardens,
The national flower of Japan, the cherry blossom – or Sakura, represents a time of renewal and optimism. The petals of pink mark the ending of winter and signify the beginning of spring. Due to their quick blooming season, cherry blossoms also symbolize the transience of life, a major theme in Buddhism.

Une merveille !!!!!!!!!! on a l'impression d'être sous ces arbres fleuris. Celui à gauche du premier plan avec son tronc puissant crée une saisissante profondeur d'image vers cette prairie d'un beau vert cru parcouru par de légères ombres .

So inviting, these pastels of Spring, and not just the cherry blossoms but the inviting green lawn and foreground flora. Another strong element is the pattern of tree shadows enriching the expanse of green. What an idyllic spot to enjoy the pastel season.

Quel printemps merveilleusement fleuri dans ce beau parc à l'herbe si verte! Les ombres des branches roses se profilent sur le gazon vert, les teintes des arbres nous rendent si légers...on s'envolerait bien avec les premiers pétales quand le vent arrivera! Beauté des troncs solidement charnus bien plantés dans le sol, beauté d'une image de qualité, compliments chère Adele! Bises et amitiés à toi! Michèle
