The Serra da Estrela mountain range well deserves this name:on a clear night you can see the whole Milky Way and taking your time observing, you may count the shooting stars crossing the night skies!
Unfortunately I don't think I had ever the chance to see the mountains snow-covered, though.... well that's something yet to do.
Great shot of a marvellous place - and now, saudades.
