A monk traveled to the desert seeking enlightenment. He came across a vast expanse of sand dunes, and was struck by their beauty. He decided to capture the moment with his camera.
He took a photograph of the dunes, with their intricate patterns and shifting shadows. But when he looked at the image on the camera screen, it was completely monochromatic - just shades of gray.
At first, the monk was disappointed. He had hoped to capture the vivid colors of the desert, the golden yellows and fiery oranges.
