The shot shows this well known wading bird in its typical and motionless waiting pose for a prey to pass.

It’s the first time I saw 2 Grey Herons hunting side by side as this bird is usually a solitary hunter.
I wonder what will happen there if just one fish or frog is passing by…….

German name : Graureiher
Latin name : Ardea cinerea

Zwei Graureiher in der Schärfeebene ist schon sehr außergewöhnlich, gratuliere! Dazu kommt eine ausgezeichnete Beleuchtung!
