The church of Panaghia Chrysopighi
To conclude the visit to Kastro, one has to pay a visit to the beloved to the Sifnians church of Panaghia Chrysopighi housing the icon of the Virgin that according to tradition has miraculous effects upon beleivers. The church is old, built in the 16th century on a rock connected with a little bridge to the mainland.
On completion to the visit, you can drive few kilometers away and relax in Platys Yialos, one of the best beaches in the island.

Gorgeous Alexander. Like a finger showing the way towards the light ... Beautiful those buildings.
Unfortunately we only were 3 days on Milis and couldn't see everything. We also were on Paros and Santorini. I adore all I've seen. Hugs Ana

A series of your most spectacular ones, accompanied by very interesting captions. Sifnos! An island among the few I don't know yet. I hope to have life enough for visiting it nextly, It would be one of my hopes.
