... but this one is not in my garden but in the jungle near Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. I did not trust him so shot this image with a telephoto setting.

Dieser Spider ist ein schönes Exemplar - mit Mohair-Wadenschonern! Spinnen fotografieren ist auch Therapie gegen Arachnophobie :-)

Eeeek, I jolly well hope not! Although there are two big black ones camping in my porch at the moment and they glare at me whenever I leave the house! Your beasty is an unusual shape with its long body and furry leg bits! But I must confess, I couldn't have a good long look at it, it was a passing glance!
