St. Martin (12th centry) Pinhole Photo

After some time I have now continued again experimenting with pinhole photography. I captured our old church nearby my home. The first attempt led to quite blurry images because the pinhole was too big. So I then made a 2nd pinhole which corresponds to an apperture of about f100.

Another problem is that afterwards there is the need of getting rid of all the dust marks, which appear here more than using a normal lens.

  Thank you... I can recommend to got a try. The results depend first on how tiny the pinhole is. The next challenge is to find the right subject where this technique works best. regards Berthold

Das Foto erinnert mich spontan an die 50er Jahre okay. Lochkamera Fotos sind motivbedingt schwer zu machen. Da muss alles stimmen Licht und Motiv. Als Dokument ist das Foto okay.
Ansonsten erkenne ich nicht den Hinkucker.

  Die Zielsetzung bei der Präsentation von Fotos kann sehr unterschiedlich sein. Bei diesem Foto ging es nicht um den Hingucker, wie du richtigerweise feststellst sondern um das Verfahren an sich. Den Stil habe ich dem Verfahren angepasst. Die Herausforderung die ich angehen möchte ist Motiv/Lochkamera passend zusammen zu bringen. Mal schauen ob es mir in diesen Zeiten gelingt...   The current situation doesn’t allow photography as we have had months before, so I switched over to this challenge and hope to realize some ideas.
