    das gemeinsame projekt sind offensichtlich zwillinge... ;-))

    ich präferiere die SW-variante, die pandas auf dem anderen bild sind mir zu erdbärig!

    Ich gehe davon aus, dass du nicht der offizielle Fotograf warst.
    In unserer Kultur hätte das Paar vielleicht (Glücks) Schweinchen in den Händen gehalten.

    Wenn Bären an der Hochzeit verbinden, so ist es viel besser, als wenn man sich danach einen Bären aufbindet.

    Vielleicht symbolisieren die Pandas ihre Fähigkeit, einen ausgeglichenen Lebensweg zu finden und sind nach unserem Verständnis somit Glücksbringer für dieses Hochzeitspaar.
    Tja, Hannes konfrontiert uns immer wieder mit Denkaufgaben. Mir gefällt das.:-)

      Pandas in Chinese Culture
      When people think of China, they often think of the panda. The Chinese regard them as a symbol for friendship and peace.
          The panda has an important place in Chinese culture and history. In the Shangshu (a written history of the Xizhou Dynasty, 1027-771 BC) the panda was described as an invincible animal, as strong as a tiger.As a tribute to kings and emperors, a panda's pelt was often given during that time. During the Ming dynasty, the panda was often thought to have medical powers. The pelt supposedly could repel plague and prevent tumors. 
          The panda was often compared to the yin and yang because of its black and white spots. The colors stand in stark contrast to one another one the animal's pelt. The panda's calm demeanor was a demonstration of how, when balanced, the yin yang were harmonious and peaceful. 
          The Chinese people adore the panda. Many people revere it as a symbol of good luck. Though some people do poach them, most Chinese consider them honored guests. When encountered with one they might feed it, and if its injured or sick they might alert local authorities. In recent years, the panda has replaced the dragon as an emblem of China. The image appears on many coins and souvenirs.

      Das ist nicht in Beijing, sondern im Castello Sforzesco in Milano. Und da waren bessere Pandas wohl grad' nicht im Angebot. ;–)
