We spend two days in the area, took the 8 hours bus tour and were fascinated by the variety of landscapes. I could capture Mt. Denali on the way to the National Park, visible from the road to Talkeetna. Next day he hid himself behind clouds.

You captured a wonderful moment.

  Hi Matthias , i was there in autumn last year stayed 10 day's , after the Loterie , i was able to drive 35 miles into the park , did the 8 hours trip as well and as you did, could enjoy the moment of mount mc kenley or MT Denali , it is a fantastic place as so many others in Alaska , I suppose you done other places as well while you were there ???? We are lucky to be able to see all this beauty.

  The plan was to explore the Yukon territory, Canada, and just stay a few days in Alaska. It turned out being the other way round :-)
  We went down from Top of the world Highway down to Homer, up to Denali and back to Whitehorse, where we started.

  hallo Matthias , i suppose you enjoyed it , have you done the Yukon area , this is on my list and info about it would be great , notably PB narwals and the reindeer trek are of principal interest , but doing it not in a rush , but with a decent time span , Regards
