The Day of the Storm
we sat safely in our anchorage for 3 days until winds of up to 45 knots and the sea calmed down and were the only ones there ... only the barometer showed what was happening on the Queen Charlotte Strait and elsewhere. There was a lot of damage in Vancouver - and on the coming days we encountered many logs and whole trees floating in the water.

yes, thunderstorms are very photogenic, but dangerous great atmosphere ...(Sorry, Adele, in early October, I have to move house, I will be really busy!)

Strange only a menacing sky gives some indication of a storm in this shot while the sea doesn't look so much agitated and frightful... Another beautiful picture,dear Adele.best regards alexander
