The Kiss
Sadly this beautiful work of art is gone. It was in New York City by the highline so you could see it from the street and as you walked along the high line. It was a tribute by Edwardo Kobra of the Sailor Kissing the nurse in Times Square at the end of WW II. It is a horrible shame that it was painted over, gone far too soon.

Wie schade, daß dieses beeindruckende Kunstwerk nun nicht mehr zu sehen ist. Doch Du hast ein sehenswertes Foto, mit kräftigen Farben und einer guten Perspektive davon gemacht.Danke dafür.
