t h e beginning of everything! and in t h e beginning was t h e word! in fact, what would we be without it??? up in the trees, grunting ; )) probably… and would there be thinking without words at all? to me this is a highly symbolic picture! the THE set against the beautiful rocky wall – a complicated, highly structured work, built "brick by brick", as the romans would have said ; )) – and a great analogy to how language, writing, syntax, grammar, and thinking works, too! a beautiful monochrome "statement" and monument ; )! greetings, sabine.
