The Pigeon Tower

The Pigeon Tower was part of the gardens Lord Leverhulme created on the edge of the West Pennine Moors between Chorley and Bolton. Lady Leverhulme had her sewing room on the top floor from where she would be able to see, on a clear day, from North Wales to the English Lake District. The bungalow Lord Leverhulme built no longer exists although parts of the tiled floors remain. The gardens became badly overgrown but the ornamental bridges, ponds and walkways remain.

    Thanks for comments.
No need to get up early. Just retire and go during the week. And the wrinklies are very good at keeping out of the picture.
    Cheers

Being a Lancashire lad I know it well !
I'm always unlucky when I get there ... too many walkers around for a decent shot ... must try to get up earlier ;-)
    Nice composition Jeff.
    best regards,
    Andy
