Tibet
From Lasa to Lake Yamdrok, at an altitude of 4550mt.
Along the Brahmapoutra origin.
Legendary Brahmapoutra(son of Brahma) is one of the major Asian rivers. Originates from the northern side of Himalayas, in Burang(Tibet), flows across southern Tibet to the Asian Valley, through Bangladesh(Jamuna) and finaly merges with sacred Gange in its mega Delta emptying in the Bengal bay. Its length is 3000 km and has an average depth of 50m. It serves for transportation and irrigation but often greates threatening floods. It was explored in 1884-1886 and it's lower reaches are sacred to Hindu people.
In the photo, travelling along its origins early in the morning almost with sunrise.
