Neither do I in 7 years since I go there. The red took by the camera was more intense than the real one, but you are right: it looked more like a sunset. It must be something about that clouds between me and the sun. It was beautiful.Peter Mohr 23/09/2004 13:30
I seeI've never seen a sunrise with such colours.
thanks for the info

Peter, of course a sunset in Romania, at the seaside, is behind land. I took this photo at 6:00 am.Vama veche is a small village and that band took it's name after it. Vama Veche is the southest point on Romania's sea shore. You can look here: http://www.hartionline.ro/ro/hartay/f3.html In Romania the place is famous and more and more people wants to spend their hollydays there. It's rustic and you can party all night long, on the beach. This year there was a big rock festival there, and almost 10.000 people joined it. I wasn't there at the time and I wonder where did they sleep. Probably in tents, on the beach. :)

great photo of a sunset, good contrast and additional details
I tried to find out where Vama Veche is but there must be a rock band more famous than the location.
Shouldn't a sunset in Romania actually go down behind land?
