This is my first picture of bolt. Would be thankful for your coments and tips of lighting photography. Used EOS D350, 30s, f8, ISO100, EV compensation -1.

    Hi Roxana, thanks for you comment. Every thing started when last year at late evening i was having cigarete, then i so the lightning hitting the same tover, then i thought it would be wonderful to catch that impresive second. At first there was few problems - i did have a photo camera with posibility to control exposure. Recently i bought EOS D350. After few days i got lucky, a storm started and it was going right to the tower. After that i had just to place tripod with camera. I came just in time because storm was passing straight over the tover. At first i thought i will have to do a lot of shots with 30s exposure. Taking ~6th shot finally i saw the view whitch i was planing so long to shoot and i new that my camera saw it to. The shot was just in time because soon clouds covered the tower. So thats my short lucky stori ;].

    This is a great photo. You captured the exact moment when the lightning hits the tower. How long did you expect this to happen?
