Twilight over Midtown - No. 1
Could any city be more breathtaking from above at Blue Hour?
Amidst the ever-changing Midtown Manhattan skyline can be seen three glowing iconic spires - the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building at the right and the Helmsley Building on Park Avenue, just north of the Met Life (formerly PanAm) Building. The Helmsley was wearing the rainbow colors in honor of the June Pride Parade
that was to take place on Fifth Avenue a few days later.
The northeasterly view was captured from an open helicopter.
