anchored in a bay in Pender Harbour north of Vancouver we were surrounded by pink and white jellyfish (actually a threat to Northern waters). I shot this leaning over the side of the boat ....

: ))))) leo's comment made me smile! psychedelic, yes!! and a little wintry, too, i might add: the many, many floating medusas distantly remind me of snowflakes… a drowning man entering the realms of an ice-cold world – palace of the snow queen maybe, which in any case is better than the heat of hell! ; ))))) so very special and beautiful, adele! i'm already looking forward to the close-up, which i will be clicking myself into now! hugs, sabine.

This reminds me of when I was swimming in the Nordsee by the Island of Helgoland, das waters were full of these jellyfish and it was not very pleasant to be in the water.

Wie kleine Blüten wirken die Quallen im Wasser. Aber auch wenn sie sehr apart aussehen, beim schwimmen mag ich sie nicht :-)
