The ruins of an imposing castle, built by the Venetians around 1350 when the island was a stronghold of their Mediterranean supremacy, rest at the highest point of the capital Chora and offer a wonderful view at the open sea.In the castle are also beautiful old Byzantine churches.

Faszinierend sich dort auf zu halten mit Sicherheit
es muss sein wie bei einem Zeitsprung in die Vergangenheit
Sehr reizvoll wenn auch sicher mühevoll zugleich bei großer Hitze Alexander
