Vancouver Living .... in a Faux Tudor Townhouse
This townhouse complex is only a couple of years old - the little turret belongs to a Ukrainian Orthodox church and is old. I took this 10 days ago, and the Christmas decorations were still up.

It's funny how new buildings want to look like old ones! I am all for Christmas, but decorations in January is too much!!!! ;)) Good picture with the roofs in a line on each side.Sally

The houses remind me of Tudor houses in the Tower of London.The reflexion of the sky in the windows looks very nice.
Moreover, I like the dome of the small church which is framed by the Christmas decoration.

it does look neat and pretty and idyllic, but a little sterile, too… and the christmas decorations make it look like a model postcard! i know what you mean: i tried shooting our little "period alster ferry" a couple of times during the last couple of days: it looks so cute, literally frozen into the binnenalster – but the huge x-mas tree is still up there on the binnenalster right behind it ; ))… hugs, sabine.Mark Billiau. 28/01/2010 9:46
