Vancouver Public Library - Entrance

The downtown Central Branch, also known as the Colosseum (which it resembles), designed by architect Moshe Safdie .

The Vancouver Public Library system has 2.8 million items in 22 branches, about 375.000 card carrying members and lends out 9 million items anually (first library was established 1869) - thank you Wikipedia !!!

I was with company when taking this image ... will go again as there are great photographic views to be taken.

Eine ganz wundervolle Aufnahme und der Bildschnitt und das Licht ist wirklich super!!!! Der Gebäudekomplex ist beeindruckend und er gefällt mir wirklich sehr! Auch hier ist das Spiel zwischen Licht und Schatten ein richtiger Hingucker!
