      I liked the man who was washing the plates at the fountain.
      Later in the evening - we had a meal in the alley which goes up to the Saint Dominic Church and piazza.
      It was all very nice, and interesting.
      A  lot to see.

      I see what you mean.
      In this picture - noone is wearing a mask.
      There was still a lot of mask-wearing in sicily.
      And - Transport Police were still checking the vaccination status of passengers at the regional railway stations.
      But yes - the italians seemed to be enjoying the recent lifting of their pandemic emergency.

      I have a friend in shanghai (in severe lockdown) ; and a sister in new zealand (recently opened up). There is some variety out there in the world. Here - in england - my wife is still working from home.
