    Probably they won't have to wait that long ;-) Nice capture. We're still having a bit of snow, but at the end of next week the temperatures shall get higher...right to the calendarian spring starting ;)

    some beech leaves display a great sense of obligation: clinging to their branch even in dying and only letting go, when they finally smell the scent of hazelnut blossoms in the air, sense the wind getting milder by the day, and feel the first capricious ray of sunshine caress their crinkly skin with sympathy. then they know for sure spring is near, their mother shrub has survived the harsh times of winter and will soon thrive again, and with a comforted and reassured sob, they stop clinging and let the march winds carry them away… ; )) greetings, sabine.
