Fotografiert in Madaba, Jordanien. Diese Blume stammt ursprünglich aus den tropischen Regionen Amerikas, wurde jedoch in Europa und Asien eingeführt, wo sie sich manchmal außerordentlich gut entwickelt, allerdings auf Kosten der dortigen Flora und somit zu einer Verringerung der lokalen Artenvielfalt.

Photographed in Madaba, Jordan. This flower originates in the tropical Americas but was introduced in Europe and Asia, where it sometimes does extremely well, at the expense of the local flora, and thus reducing the local biodiversity.
