Washington Springtime No.3 - Bicyclists and Cherry Blossoms
A major part of Washington's appeal in Springtime is its lovely cherry blossom trees. And while the most iconic
scenes are those around the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial, these blossoming trees are also in profusion in
nearby East Potomac Park, the long strip of parkland that sits between the Washington Channel and the Potomac.
Here, bicyclists enjoy the blossoms in East Potomac Park.
The scene was shot on Adox SilverMax-100 black and white film in a Pentax ME-Super, through a Tamron 35-135mm f/3.5-4.2 MF lens wearing a No.25 red filter, on an inviting April afternoon in 2018. This is its first appearance.
