Thankyou for the comment on the shepherd picture. Usually - there is only snow on the top of these hills on a few occasions in the year, for a few days at one time ; and even if it is cold - the snow might only be on the top of the hills. But thankyou for suggesting spring and summer.
I can now see the square version of the barcelona street. To my eye - it emphasises the vertical elements it accentuates the depth of the road through the buildings. I like it,
